Victorian Landcare Council

The VICTORIAN LANDCARE COUNCIL was formed in November 2008. It is a democratic Council that has been created to represent the interests of volunteer Landcare in Victoria in pursuing a healthy and sustainable environment. It has two Landcare members from each of the 10 CMA regions who have accepted the responsibility to represent the volunteers of Landcare. see - www.vlc.org.au

Victorian State Landcare Team

The Victorian State Landcare Team (VSLT) is made up of the ten (CMA-based) Regional Landcare Coordinators, the two theme-based statewide Landcare Facilitators (i.e. Corporate and Indigenous), and the members of the DSE Community Engagement and Landcare unit.

Coastcare

Coastcare proudly supports thousands of community volunteer groups working to protect and enhance Victoria's 2000 kilometres of coastline.

Environment Defenders Office (Vic)

The EDO is an independent, non-profit, community legal service, practicing in public interest environmental law.

Farm Tree & Landcare Association

The Farm Tree & Landcare Association (FTLA) is an independent incorporated association governed by its members. The FTLA has evolved to cater for groups and individuals involved in Landcare and similar land management and conservation activities. The FTLA exists to serve the Member Groups and supports Member Groups where issues arise that are common across the membership, most notably the FTLA insurance package. Established in 1986 at the start of Landcare the FTLA currently has over 540 Member Groups and 16,000 households, including Landcare, Farm Tree, Climate Action and Friends Of groups etc. The FTLA is not involved in the day to day running of Member Groups. The FTLA Rules allow Groups to create their own bylaws for the administration of the Member Group’s affairs and activities.

Landcare Australia

Landcare Australia Ltd (LAL) is the official not-for-profit company responsible for promotion and sponsorship for Australia's landcare movement.

Victorian Mobile Landcare Group

The Victorian Mobile Landcare Group and 4WD Touring Club (VMLCG) support Landcare projects that require remote country operation and use of our 4WD vehicles, either in pursuit of our own programmes or supporting other agencies including Parks Victoria, DSE, traditional Landcare Groups etc..

Victorian Serrated Tussock Working Party

The Victorian Serrated Tussock Working Party (VSTWP) is a community driven group focused on serrated tussock management within Victoria since 1995. The Working Party works in partnership with the DPI and the Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) to achieve the goals outlined in the recent strategy: “Intensifying the attack on serrated tussock 2005-2010”.
