Woodside Beach Rehabilitation Project
YYLN and the Woodside Beach Surf Life Saving Club have been actively working together to undertake a small rehabilitation project on one of the main access tracks to the Beach, and the sand dunes that adjoin it. Also liaising with the Wellington Shire and Coastcare, the Club has been successful in receiving Coastcare funding to undertake the Project. Due to begin in May 2008, the construction work will be undertaken by East Vic Workforce, and will involve the construction of a viewing platform, fencing of the track, and improving the track surface. The planting of over 200 indigenous plants will commence at the end of winter 2008, and will be coordinated by YYLN.
