West Gippsland Yarram Yarram Landcare Network Projects JARR Project

JARR Project

The Jack and Albert Riparian Restoration Project is a community based project that aims to improve the health of the Jack and Albert Catchment and the RAMSAR Wetlands of Nooramunga and Corner Inlet.

6 Landcare Groups in the JARR Catchment are involved with this project.

The Biodiversity Blueprint, funded by the Norman Wettenhall Foundation (see Biodiversity Blueprint Project) is currently the major sub-project which will detail all the past revegetation works completed across this catchment, thus leading to a baseline map on which Landcare Groups, Landholders and Planners can look at creating better links across the landscape.
